Birchwood’s Software Development consists of 4 unique product teams working on industry-specific applications in the finance, supply-chain, retail, and lending spaces. Our software has been featured multiple times in automotive publications, and we strive to be at the forefront of our industry.
We prioritize hands-on learning and provide the resources you need to be successful and grow your career. We provide paid training and development opportunities and, as a group, are avid conference attendees.
In Birchwood’s Software Development department, you’ll work within a cross-functional team of developers, designers, and data analysts, as well as clients – our stores.
Our developers are encouraged to continue learning in the direction they are most passionate about. Through supported learning initiatives, our developers have earned such designations as: AWS Certified Engineer, Zend PHP Certified Developer, and more.
You don’t need to know a piston from a tailpipe to work on our team, but if you are passionate about cars and car culture, Birchwood is a great fit. We work hands-on with our retail dealers on our projects, it’s kind of our ‘secret sauce’.

We often require Analysts as part of our Innovations team who thrive on data-wrangling. Analysts use a business intelligence, technology-driven process for analyzing data and presenting actionable information using tools like Kibana. This data is used by executives, managers and other end-users make informed business decisions.
